Responsibilities

  • Provide professional counseling services to individuals, couples, families, teens, and children utilizing evidenced  based treatment modalities. Employ evidence-based outcome tracking and provide clients with feedback  on progress. Maintain a minimum caseload of 20 clients per week.  
  • Provide continuity of care for all clients including but not limited to consulting with other practitioners,  primary care physicians, psychiatrists, and providing community resource referrals, as well as  encouraging adjunctive services where appropriate.  
  • Complete and maintain confidential files and mandated records through the electronic medical system.  
  • Complete all documentation in a timely manner.
  • Maintain excellent written and verbal communication skills and possess the ability to establish and  maintain effective work relationship. 
  • Work closely with a collaborative team of clinicians through regular consultation groups. Must demonstrate interpersonal sensitivity and be able to work with a diverse population.  
  • Maintain professional license requirements including CEU’s and ongoing professional development and training.
  • Attend all staff meetings and team development activities.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in counseling or related field. 
  • Possess unrestricted CA BBS licensure as LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW. 
  • Preferred one year post licensure experience, especially with experience in a private practice setting. 
  • Proficiency in EMR systems is preferred.
