Job Description: Social Worker
The Social Worker will provide support to individuals and families in need, offering counseling, resources, and advocacy to improve their well-being. The role involves assessing clients' needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluating clients: Assess clients' needs, strengths, and support networks
- Developing care plans: Create plans for clients
- Providing therapeutic support: Offer therapeutic support to clients
- Consulting with others: Consult with doctors and therapists
- Administering programs: Oversee social service programs
- Diagnosing and treating disorders: Assess, diagnose, and treat mental health, emotional, and behavioral disorders
- Petitioning for evaluations: Authorize petitions for emergency mental or physical health evaluations
- Providing psychotherapy: Offer psychotherapy to clients
- Supervising other social workers: Supervise other licensed social workers as they perform their duties
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work (BSW/MSW) from an accredited institution.
- Valid License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker
- At least 5 years of Social Work Experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in case management and counseling techniques.
- Knowledge of relevant social services and community resources.
