IOCP is a nonprofit that provides services in food, case management, emergency financial assistance, employment services, and childcare resources to those residing in our service area. We are looking for a Client Services Coordinator (CSC) to provide a first point of contact in our client-centric service delivery model.

 

The CSC role is central to our efforts to create an environment of belonging with an emphasis on dignity, accessibility, and agility. Our CSC will meet with clients to conduct intakes, help them navigate services and provide support to our front desk operations. What You'll Do

  • Meet with new clients to assess needs, collect information, provide information about resources, and support them as they navigate our services.
  • Act as primary contact for clients accessing basic needs including food, clothing, and emergency financial assistance.
  • Facilitate client access to clothing and food, including leading food shelf distribution shifts and clothing distribution appointments.
  • Support front desk operations by welcoming guests to our building, answering phones, scheduling intakes, and responding to client inquiries.
  • Train and support interns. 
  • Handle administrative tasks such as processing scholarship requests and referrals to partners.

 

Schedule Requirements

  • Onsite four days per week with the option  to work remotely one day.
  • 40 hours per week, including one or two evenings per week (Mondays until 6:00 p.m., Wednesdays and/or Thursdays until 7 or 7:30 p.m.).
  • Potential of one to two Saturday mornings per month.

 

Qualifications

  • AA in a Human Services field.
  • Experience in a human services setting.
  • High level of computer proficiency.
  • De-escalation skills, strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
  • Capable of relating to and advocating for diverse client needs and interests.
  • Commitment to equity and inclusion and ability to excel in a diverse environment.
