Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join us. As a member of the team, this position requires you to help identify and nurture opportunities with both new and existing customers through outbound and inbound inquires. You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation and negotiating skills, and a solid knowledge base in genomics. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to customers and business development of services and products.

Basic Qualifications •  MSc in cellular and molecular biology, genetics, genomics, biochemistry, or related fields
•  Experience in sequencing projects, research topics related to genomics
•  Ability to build relationships through professional sales and interpersonal skills with a disciplined and organized approach
•  Demonstrate strong entrepreneurial mindset, collaborative behaviors, and presentation skills
•  Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
•  No sales experience needed
Key Responsibilities •  Serve as key client contact for assigned projects, build relationships with client project teams which result in client satisfaction, operational excellence and thereby increase the potential for repeat business
•  Prioritize customer requests to provide technical information and help to troubleshoot via phone and emails and customer follow-up
•  Utilize scientific skills to provide product-related education to customers and help to identify potentially non-conforming products based on available data
•  Contribute to updating scientific content on the company website such as posters, product datasheets, and web tools
•  Identification of potential new products or product lines and attend scientific meetings and trade/vendor shows
•  Collaborate with relevant departments, prepare and deliver presentations for new business as required
•  Perform other duties as assigned by management
