We have an excellent opportunity for the right person. We are a Dialysis Center in Lompoc, California that provides compassionate and professional care for our patients. We have a current opportunity for a newly licensed Nurse Practioner or an experienced professional. In this role, under the direct supervision of a physician, you will provide comprehensive medical care to patients, collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals and contribute to the overall well-being of our patients and their families.
The responsibilities in this role include the following:
- Conduct patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations
- Perform medical work in the examination, diagnosis and treatment of patients in the Nephrology clinic and chronic dialysis unit
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Order, perform and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, management and treatment options
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care
- Assist physicians with making hospital rounds to check on the status of new and existing patients
- Maintain accurate and up to date medical records using EMR
Requirements of this position include the following:
- Graduate of an accredited NP program accredited by the Commission of Education for Nurse Practioner and have a California Board of NP license
- Strong interpersonal skills and be able to effectively communicate. Spanish speaking is a plus, but not required
- Have the ability to work independently as well as with a team of healthcare providers

Compensation DOE: $70-$85 per hour ($145,600 - $176,800)
We are located in Lompoc, California, which is 55 miles north of Santa Barbara. Coastal access is within a 15-20 minute drive. Santa Ynez Valley lies in between the two locations and offers hiking, trail biking, festivals, vineyards and many more adventures.
This is a full time Monday - Friday 8 hour/day position. No nights or weekends.
