Georgia HOPE is able to provide internships to those pursuing careers in the mental health field. We provide clinical internships for master's level students and will consider bachelor's level internships. Georgia HOPE has multiple offices and provides virtual services to clients along with in-person services.
We can work with you to fill the supervision needs of your school's Practicum and Internship requirements. Our Clinical Supervisors work with our Interns to hit their required goals.
Primary Experience Gained:
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling to children, adolescents and/or adults in assigned region/counties via our HIPAA compliant virtual platform, school-based services, and/or community based services
- Collaborate with other Georgia HOPE staff and community partners to ensure effective treatment, service provision and case collaboration
- Document case notes in online electronic medical record system
- Attend regular team meetings and clinical supervision
- Attend agency trainings, as needed
