The Maryland Parent Child Clinic, LLC is excited to announce that we are seeking a provisionally licensed therapists (LMSW or LGPC) or independently licensed (LCPC, LCSW-C, LCMFT, etc.) masters-level therapist to join our practice. The Maryland Parent Child Clinic is currently located in Timonium, MD in Baltimore County but the position will be hybrid or fully virtual. We are growing practice primarily serving children/adolescents/young adults up to age 25 with a wide variety of behavioral and emotional concerns including but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, oppositionality, sleep issues, and toileting concerns. This position is great for someone who loves learning and is seeking advanced training in evidence-based treatments for children/ adolescents. We welcome applicants who are licensed or will be licensed in early 2024 to apply. 

Responsibilities:

  • Complete diagnostic assessments and treatment plans. 
  • Provide individual cognitive behavioral therapy and behavioral parent training as needed to individuals and/or their caregivers. 
  • Consult with schools and other providers outside of the Maryland Parent Child Clinic as needed.
  • Participate in weekly individual and group supervision. 
  • Maintain records and bill insurance using our all-in-one and easy to use electronic medical record system. 

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in social work, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy or an equivalent degree that qualifies for licensure. 
  • License to practice in the state of Maryland.
  • Experience or interest in working with children/ adolescents.
  • Experience with psychotherapy. 
  • Basic understanding or interest in learning more about cognitive behavioral therapy and/or behavioral parent training. 
  • Availability to work late afternoons/ evenings preferred.
