Lotus Family Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated home-based therapists (HBT) to provide therapeutic services to children and families involved with the Department of Child Services (DCS). This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering trauma-informed, strength-based therapy in home and community settings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, family, and crisis therapy in home and community-based settings.
- Support families in improving communication, emotional regulation, and conflict resolution.
- Assist parents in developing effective parenting strategies, establishing structure, and setting healthy boundaries.
- Facilitate supervised visits between children and caregivers as needed.
- Collaborate with DCS caseworkers, schools, and other service providers to ensure coordinated care.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs and case goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field (required).
- Eligibility for LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT licensure (supervision provided).
- Experience working with children and families is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and crisis intervention skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
