Master's Level Internship

Youth Villages | Nashville, TN, United States

Posted Date 12/18/2024
Description

Our internship programs are currently accepting Master’s level students pursuing their degree in a social or human services field (Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy). In order to provide a full experience and allow exposure into the work that we do at Youth Villages, undergraduate degrees of students need to also be in a relevant field, such as Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, but might also be a similar type of degree program. If the applicant’s undergraduate degree is in a similar field, such as Criminal Justice, Child and Family Development, we might be able to complete a transcript review to determine if they meet the required credits for our organization.  Students are able to apply online on our website at this link: https://youthvillages.org/careers/internships/.

Our programs at Youth Villages consist of Specialized Crisis Services, Treatment Foster Care, Lifeset Transitional Living, Intensive In-Home Services, Residential Facilities, and Adoption. Youth Villages has numerous offices across the state of Tennessee. Locations, availability, and ability to meet the hour requirements can vary each semester depending on how many spots we have open and which programs are taking interns. For the Spring semester, we are currently seeking Master’s level interns in our Cookeville, Columbia, Nashville, and Dickson locations for the Middle Tennessee area. All internships at Youth Villages are paid at an hourly rate of $16.00 per hour for Master’s level interns.

Use of a personal vehicle and valid driver’s license is required for these positions and mileage reimbursement is provided. Students who are interested should keep in mind that Youth Villages requires pre-employment checks.
