We have exciting nursing opportunities available in the Med/Surg at IU Saxony Hospital in Fishers, IN! This 24 bed multispecialty unit is committed to providing the best, high quality, compassionate care to medical and surgical patients. We have a strong focus on hip and knee joint replacements and are proud to be a part of the Indiana University Health Hip and Knee Destination Center. We also care for a wide variety of medical and general surgery patients. Our nurses thrive in a fantastic work environment focused on multi-disciplinary team engagement. We pride ourselves on strong patient experience scores and quality outcomes. We are a great unit to build a strong nursing foundation and critical thinking while working with an excellent team. Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities • Requires an Associate of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred. • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. • Requires current state of Indiana license as a Registered Nurse. • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. • Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
