This Community-based therapist field placement is for a current Master's level student in our Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) program in Olympia. PACT is a statewide program that follows the nationwide, evidence-based model of ACT, or Assertive Community Treatment. Students will gain experience in providing one-on-one mental health counseling and group counseling to clients in the program and how to use and enter clinical information in the Electronic Health Record.

 

Behavioral Health Resources (BHR) is a not-for-profit provider of community mental health and substance abuse treatment. With locations in Olympia, Tumwater, Shelton, Hoquiam, and Elma, BHR  provides over 10,000 services a year to our resilient and courageous clients.
