This position is primarily responsible for providing, under supervision of a Registered Nurse, direct care for assigned patients and for performing related duties as required.
Education: High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) and one of the following:
Graduation from a Nursing Assistant or Aide Training Program OR
Current enrollment in a program of professional nursing RN and successful completion of first semester of nursing school to include nursing fundamentals clinical.
Certifications/Licensure:
BLS Required
An active license by the state of Tennessee as a CNA or a copy of first semester transcript from an accredited school of nursing.
