    Diversified Lifestyle Services (DLS) is a Mental Health Counseling and Consulting Firm dedicated to helping clients reach their full potential.  We are a female, minority-owned counseling and consulting firm in the Washington metropolitan area.  We provide evaluations and recommend solutions to a range of issues for individuals, couples, families, and groups.  We specialize in treating a variety of mental health disorders, as well as serving those satisfying court-ordered treatment, and individuals managing life stressors. 

    Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our private practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing individual, couple, family, and/or group therapy to clients with a variety of mental health issues. This position offers the flexibility to manage your caseload while being part of a supportive team. 

    Key Responsibilities: 

    • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients. 
    • Provide evidence-based therapy to individuals, couples, families, and/or groups. 
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards. 
    • Collaborate with other mental health professionals within the practice to provide integrated care. 
    • Participate in regular supervision and case consultation meetings as required. 
    • Stay current with continuing education requirements and best practices in the field. 
    • Market and promote services to build and maintain a caseload. 
    • Adhere to ethical guidelines and confidentiality laws. 

    Qualifications: 

    • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field. 
    • Current state licensure as an LPC,LCSW or LGPC in MD or DC 
    • Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, etc.). 
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 
    • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively. 
    • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms is preferred. 
    • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
