Diversified Lifestyle Services (DLS) is a Mental Health Counseling and Consulting Firm dedicated to helping clients reach their full potential. We are a female, minority-owned counseling and consulting firm in the Washington metropolitan area. We provide evaluations and recommend solutions to a range of issues for individuals, couples, families, and groups. We specialize in treating a variety of mental health disorders, as well as serving those satisfying court-ordered treatment, and individuals managing life stressors.
Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our private practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing individual, couple, family, and/or group therapy to clients with a variety of mental health issues. This position offers the flexibility to manage your caseload while being part of a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
- Provide evidence-based therapy to individuals, couples, families, and/or groups.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals within the practice to provide integrated care.
- Participate in regular supervision and case consultation meetings as required.
- Stay current with continuing education requirements and best practices in the field.
- Market and promote services to build and maintain a caseload.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and confidentiality laws.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
- Current state licensure as an LPC,LCSW or LGPC in MD or DC
- Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms is preferred.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
