The Clinician will serve as a liaison between the program and the family to provide assessment, intervention, and treatment planning to the youth. Individual psychotherapy and family therapy is provided, along with safety planning, facilitation of a multidisciplinary team, and systemic consultation. The clinician will complete documentation in electronic health records consistent with state and program guidelines. On call responsibilities are shared to ensure timely telephonic and in person response to crisis and daily clinical triage support is available. Clinician works directly with program staff and as part of the clinical team to ensure the needs of the youth and family are met.
The Assertive Community Treatment program serves youth ages 5-20 in Atlantic and Cape May Counties. The Program provides intensive and immediate access to treatment services and supports in youth and family’s home and community. A multidisciplinary mobile team is tailored to each youth and their family and through a family centered approach will focus on crisis stabilization and assisting the youth with improving functioning and symptomology of mental health and emotional concerns. Interventions will assist with enhancing family functioning and overall stability in the family home.
Independent licensure in NJ; LPC, LCSW, OR provisional licensure in NJ; LAC, LSW. One year of experience working with youth within family systems and one year of experience working with people who have mental health and/or co-occurring behavioral health needs including complex trauma.
