Northland Health Centers is currently seeking to hire a LAPC with interest and training in providing therapy to adults, and/or children and adolescents. Interest, training, and experience with child/adolescent populations is preferred.
Under the supervision of the Behavioral Health Supervisor, the LAPC as a part of the primary care team, is responsible for providing standardized counseling/talk therapy, for NHC’s Patient with mild to moderate mental health conditions who are referred by NHC’s physicians and mid-level providers. The LAPC will work to address other social needs of patients and will utilize area referral sources for needed specialty care, hospitalization, or advance psychiatric assessments and treatments.
