If you are a recent graduate or will be graduating in 2025, you may be interested in our Language Assistant internships at private schools in Spain for a whole academic year.

This is an opportunity to enhance your resume with international experience while learning from qualified teachers, receiving TEFL training, improving your Spanish language skills, and discovering a new culture.

Main tasks:

• Preparing lesson plans.
• Organizing and delivering conversational activities in split groups on your own (3, 8, or 15 students at a time).
• Leading the whole class alongside the main teacher (20 to 25 students).
• Conducting conversation practice with other teachers.
• Helping to prepare students for standardized language tests.

Program highlights:

• Placements in more than 300 private and charter schools all over Spain.
• 20 to 24 in-class hours per week.
• No fees.
• Monthly stipend to live in Spain as a student.
• Homestay with a host family or independent accommodation.
• Spanish National Health system coverage.
• TEFL training covered by the program and delivered by a Spanish university.
• Pre-departure & visa support, and in-country guidance.
• No Spanish or previous teaching experience is required.
