Reports to: LTFC Lead Clinician/PSA Compliance Manager
Hours: Full-time, exempt position with flexibility.

We are one of Pittsburgh’s largest social service organizations operating 15 programs in three counties. General Statement of Duties: The Clinician shall conduct mental health assessments for all UC (Unaccompanied Children) in care and provide ongoing individual, group, and crisis intervention. The ratio of UC to clinicians shall not be greater than 12:1. Final approval for hire will be done by the Project Officer of the Office of Refugee and Resettlement, a sub-agency of the Department of Health and Human Services of the federal government.
Essential Functions:

- Collaborates with the youth to establishes achievable goals to promote personal development and independent living
- Collaborates with Behavioral Support and Crisis Intervention Specialist to monitor client progress and areas of concern.
- Completes required documentation, in a timely manner, to maintain
- Assists and promotes acculturation in a culturally sensitive
- Elevates client-related concerns in a timely manner.
- Develops and maintains professional and supportive relationships with all agency staff, volunteers, ORR, CYF, ICE, VERA, and
- Handles unanticipated events and crisis situations in a positive constructive manner- respond personally to clients, family members, sponsors, volunteers and community
- Participates in the on-call rotation and follows the procedures when serving in an on-call
- Models and assists in the implementation of the HART Model and Trauma- Informed
Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree in social work with clinical experience in the program, or master's degree in psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science in which direct clinical experience is a program requirement, or a bachelor’s degree plus 5 years clinical employment experience. Must be licensed or eligible for licensure. Candidate must have excellent communication skills in English (read, write, and speak). Must have Act 33, 34 and FBI Clearances. Must have a valid driver’s license. Bilingual candidates preferred.
