As a counselor intern, responsibilities often involve conducting individual and group counseling sessions, providing risk assessments, and implementing therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and play therapy. Maintain communicate with parents or guardians and address academic and social concerns. Participate in weekly multidisciplinary team meetings and attending IEP meetings.
